Job Description:
Build an automation framework that other testers will
leverage.
Own the development and execution of test plans and test cases for multiple features of an application.
You will develop and maintain testing strategies, including manual and automation testing.
You will ensure comprehensive test coverage by working closely with the product and engineering teams to prioritize testing execution and report on test execution progress and results.
You will participate in design and specification reviews, and use this information to design test plans.
You will promote QA productivity through automation, tools, and other best practices.

Job Responsibilities:
3+ years of experience in software development/test.
Hands-on experience in Java; and familiarity with one or more of: Python, Perl, PHP.
Experience working with REST API specifications (Swagger OpenAPI).
Working knowledge of front-end web development.
Strong, object-oriented design and coding skills.
Expertise in data structures, algorithms, and complexity analysis.
The ability to produce bullet-proof code that is fault-tolerant, efficient and maintainable.
Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and project planning/execution skills including estimating and scheduling.
Experience with JVM related test automation tools (junit, Mockito, jMeter etc).
Strong exposure to Selenium framework.
Experience developing high-quality test strategies and test automation.
Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions.
Deal well with ambiguous/undefined problems; ability to think abstractly.
Understanding of QA methodologies, life cycle, and processes.
Shows creativity and initiative to improve product coverage and effectiveness.
Expertise in database testing including designing and manipulating test data, validating stored procs, jobs, triggers and replication.
Experience with functional, performance and stress testing for web applications and back-end services at scale.
