Job Description:
Design, develop, enhance, and
test application components using an overall Agile software development process
as an active participant of a Scrum team.
Understand business requirements and develop application components including highly appealing GUI that meet those requirements.
Research, design, document, and modify software specifications throughout the product life cycle.
Responsibilities will include translation of the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application.
Assist/Conduct peer code reviews, unit testing and integration testing.
Experience with ERP systems such Deltek Maconomy or financial systems is strongly desired.
4-5 years of experience with strong emphasis on user interface design and web application development using MICROSOFT technologies.
Candidate must be proficient in CSS, HTML, JAVASCRIPT and JQUERY.
Must be proficient in C#, ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC and MS SQL.
Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
Develop new user-facing features.
Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
Strong knowledge of software development processes and best practices.
Demonstrated analysis and problem solving skills.
Experience with source code control systems such as Visual Studio Team Services.
Ability to analyze and resolve moderate to complex production issues, perform root cause analysis and define approach and guidelines as required to resolve issues.
Demonstrated success of working independently, with a proven track record of excellence.
Demonstrated ability to develop rapid prototypes and proof of concepts for evaluation of new GUI strategies.
